Discount Tire

I was in a real bind out of town for the weekend in Llano, these guys were the closest location. I called and by some miracle they had 4 tires i needed for my Jaguar AWD Cody and Joel where super friendly, timely and helpful as soon as I got there. They had all 4 of my tires changed, and i had me back out the door on the road like an F1 style pit stop - it was nothing short of a miracle and they really got me out of a bind *with my wife* - Thank you guys so much for being at work that day and treating me like i matter. 1000 times thank you! I was leaving without my wheel lock too, and the gentlemen in the pictures, literally ran my car down in the rain to give it back ! JUST WOW!

Ended up with a screw in the sidewall so I came to the store before they opened and waited hoping they could get me in. Blake came out the front door and acknowledged I was first in line and escorted me to the car immediately so no other customers would try to get his attention. I’m sure this is a normal procedure for DT but it was fantastic to know they cared about that small of a detail with their customer service. He got me taken care of with a new tire and he even started the process to get us set up on a business fleet account. He very patiently answered all of our questions and made me feel like we were in good hands. Blake needs some kudos from DT. You have a great employee on your hands!

Today while driving home from our road trip, we noticed a sudden low tire warning. We stopped at this location to check before our long journey home. Joe quickly located a nail in our tire. They quickly patched and in 30 minutes we were back on road. There was no charge even though we had not purchased our tires from them. This was not expected. This place deserve 10 stars! They are very friendly and provide excellent service.

Very sad. I have used Doscount tires for years. The staff is friendly, pricing is good and service is fast. Fast service is the problem. I had a blowout and clipped a large rock on the edge of my driveway. My fault. I took the car in to the store a few miles from the house on a donut! I specifically asked if they could look and see if anything looked damaged besides the obvious chunk out of the wheel and hole in the tire. I was told yes they would look. Four new tires and four pretty wheels later I went home. I went back the next day to pick up the old wheels and told them my steering wheel was crooked. I was told putting new tires on that were a match to the old wouldn’t cause that and it was most likely the ailment was off. Again I was reassured there was nothing wrong. I went home. The next evening I drove my car up my driveway and the tie rod broke! The techs would have seen its bend or crack and since I drove very little it’s pretty clear I was fibbed to. The fast service is in and out slap a tire on go go go! They are the professionals and it would have been more honest to say we don’t do anything but tires and/or no we aren’t sure what to look for because we only do wheels and tires. I was lucky. I didn’t go anywhere and it broke in my driveway. I drive my 89 year old mother to Austin for appointments. What if it broke on the highway?! I have no qualms with pricing or with the attitudes of salespeople. But they shouldn’t tell fibs and say they looked for anomalies but really didn’t. It was bent and broke because of that. The damage would have been obvious. It was a clear safety issue and someone could have been seriously hurt. Bad form. The repairs are on me but I know have a higher bill because I trusted what they said. I wasn’t asking them to fix anything but I asked and was given a bologna answer and false assurances. What about the next customer that asks? What happens if another person is told things are good to go and that customer has an accident? Food for thought.

I usually have good service and prices but drove in with a nail in a tire and they patched it. When I got in the car the gauges said tires still low. I asked to have them put air in tires and they did but they were all different than the the recommended settings on dash and door. They told me I need to drive around for 10 minutes and it would reset. I drove down to the Chevy dealership and they put the correct air in for free and now everything is good. It’s a bummer I had to go somewhere else to get the correct tire pressure in each tire.

Discount Tire of Marble Falls does an exceptional job of listening and understanding their customers. There were some weird 7 spline lugs on my recently purchased car which Taylor and his crew were able to navigate successfully. It’s worth mentioning that this location is busy and you should expect a wait time. The nice part is, even as thorough as the team is to ensure to service is delivered for each customer, they work quickly to move things along promptly. Also, no need to Check In on the app, just walk in and let them know what you need. I’ll be a return customer for future services!
